A small Surrey Alpaca herd raised with gentleness and care
West Heath Alpacas began in 2018 with three lovely girls: Lady, Sienna and Sherbet. Since then the herd has grown, and so has our purpose. Owner Sarah Small is a former teacher and Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) who fell in love with these remarkable animals and the calm they bring to everyone they meet.
Sarah holds CEVAS accreditation (Countryside Educational Visits Accreditation Scheme) and has trained in the Camelidynamics handling method. Every animal at West Heath is raised with patience, respect and care, which is why our alpacas are so wonderfully relaxed with visitors.
